Grilled Broccoli
1 head broccoli (organic preferred) washed well and patted dry with paper towel
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard (optional)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 gallon zip-lock bag
1. Mix olive oil, garlic powder, mustard, salt, & pepper in the zip-lock bag
2. Cut broccoli head into quarters or divide into large spears and add to zip-lock bag
3. Prepare VCS grill for medium-hot grilling
4. Grill broccoli on top grilling surface for 5-10 minutes tender crisp
5. Move broccoli to lowest grill surface just to char slightly, what carefully
6. Remove from grill and serve warm or cold in a salad.
